The First Day of School

Monday was my first day of a two-week "Superintensive" class in Frankfurt - turns out they weren't kidding. Class from 9:00-17:30 with about 3 hours of breaks total.

I will say, however, that the classes are VERY efficient. We have two different teachers throughout the day, and the Institute provides more espresso and coffee than you could ever want.

Today I finally had some time to take a walk, and noticed an interesting sign:

It's for a drug store, and I thought it was telling that they used the Bayer Aspirin pill as their logo. That's the power of brands, people (that's for you, Stu. He does an awesome blog where he writes about branding and other awesome things).

Ok, I am a horrible person for not keeping up with your blog, but I just read your "brands" shout out and it made me happy
